Colleagues gathered for the 83rd OSRT Annual Meeting Friday and Saturday, September 20 & 21, 2024, at Zane State College in Zanesville, Ohio. Scheduled presentations included 1st class CE topics suitable for various imaging practice disciplines. Technologists from all disciplines earned the potential of 14 Category A CE credits in the two-day conference. Presentations included a wide range of topics like the role of OSRT and its Advocacy functions, Organ Donation, MR Safety, Peds, Ohio Radiation Events, Digital Techniques, and more. It was a diverse schedule of topics and each presenter effectively informed attendees. Special guests who offered greetings to Ohio included Tiffany Roman as the representative from the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences, and representing the American Society of Radiologic Technologists was ASRT President Dr. Heather Moore.
The Francine Todd Memorial Honors Reception was another beautiful event. Three new board directors were duly installed--Director Becky Everetts, Director Teresa Taggart, and President-elect Tiffany Roman. This year’s recipient of the Technologist of the Year Award was Ms. Jan 
Gibson of Warren, Ohio for her years of dedicated service to OSRT.
The honor of being this year's Past President’s Lecturer was bestowed upon Ms. Lauren Huffman, of Zanesville. The title of her lecture was "Finding Stillness." Lauren was also promoted to serve as the OSRT's Operations Manager. The OSRT's positions of executive secretary and financial manager were combined into a single position of Operations Manager.
Two OSRT Members were awarded with OSRT Life Membership--Dr. Terri Bruckner of Columbus and Ms. Leisa Arnold of Cambridge. They both have an exemplary service record in the Society. In addition, Mr. Paul Kudlak was awarded Honorary Membership in the OSRT. Paul has served as the OSRT's lobbyist since 2014 and has been instrumental in the Society being a known commodity within the Ohio Statehouse and among other lobbyists.
Congratulations to graduates of the 2024 OSRT Leadership Academy: Ms. Tammy McClish, Dr. Stephanie Stauver, Ms.Laura Krukowski, Ms.Teresa Taggart, and Ms. Cecile Scalonge.
