Board of Director Nominee: Judy Miller, BS, RT(R)(CT)
My career as a radiologic technologist began at Salem Community Hospital. During the first 17 years of my career, I have held positions as a staff radiographer, Special Procedures technologist, Computed Tomography technologist, and have been responsible for Continuous Quality Improvement. I obtained both my Associate and Bachelor in Imaging Sciences degrees at Kent State University Salem. My career changed to education in 2009, when I joined KSU Salem as the Clinical Coordinator in Radiology. My professional affiliations include membership with the ASRT and OSRT, where I previously served as a board member for 4 years. Throughout my career, I strived to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs while showing kindness and compassion to all patients. Being an educator has allowed me the opportunity to encourage future radiographers to be professional, communicate effectively, and show compassion to patients in the fast paced world of digital radiography. With rapid technological advancements in the imaging field cutting back on the time it takes to image a patient, it is important to advocate for patient safety and quality of care. As a Board of Director, I would be allotted the opportunity to expand my vision to technologists and students across the state.
Board of Director Nominee: Tiffany Roman, MS, RT(R)(CT)(MR)
My name is Tiffany Roman, I am a registered RT (R), CT, and MRI technologist. I have been an RT for 16 years. I have worked in many capacities, a staff technologist in x-ray, CT, and MRI, as a corporate educator, and currently as an educator in Radiological Sciences at the University of Cincinnati. I have served in various roles for the OSRT including Marketing and Sales Co-chair (3years), Health Policy (2years), and appointed as a Director on the Board (1 1/2yrs) to fill and open position. I am active in other Imaging and Educational, Organizations such as ASRT and AEIRS. I would really like the opportunity to continue as a Director on the Board of the OSRT.
Board of Director Nominee: Barbara Swartz, BS, RT(R)(CT)
I have been an RT for over 17 years, am registered in radiography and CT, and have a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Administration from St. Joseph's College of Maine. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Health Administration. I have served on the education committee for the OSRT. I have been an ASRT and OSRT member for several years. I would like to serve on the BOD to help further our profession through education of not only our technologists, but also the public and other healthcare workers.
Technologist of the Year Award Nominee: Heather Moore, MEd, RT(R)

She is currently the Program Director and Associate Professor in the Radiologic Technology Program for the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College. She has served the OSRT in many positions over the years as a member of the following committees; Quiz Bowl, Public Relations Co-Chair, Annual Meeting, and Honors and Awards Chairperson. Heather has also been a Director on the OSRT Board, President, Board Chairperson, and Senior Board Chairman. On a national level, Heather has represented Ohio at the ASRT House of Delegates as the Radiography Chapter Delegate, and Ohio Affiliate Delegate.
