National Radiologic Technology Week^® is celebrated annually to recognize the vital work of R.T.s across the nation. The celebration takes place each year during the week that includes Nov. 8 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895.

The week-long celebration calls attention to the important role medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals play in patient care and health care safety. This year, NRTW will be celebrated November 8-14. The theme for 2015 is Discovering the Inside Story. Show your pride with official NRTW products you can purchase from ASRT. 

Each year, National Radiologic Technology Week^® is celebrated with a poster chosen to represent that year’s NRTW theme. Professional artists started designing posters for NRTW in 1988. Before that time, state affiliates brought their NRTW poster art to the ASRT Annual Conference as part of a contest. This year's theme is "Discovering The Inside Story." (NRTW is a trademark of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists).
