Bylaws Revised

Attention Members—OSRT Bylaws Revised

Notice of proposed bylaws revisions was posted on the OSRT Website in July, and as required, available for 30 days. An e-mail notice of the proposed bylaws revisions was also sent to all members. Voting on the revisions took place between August 6 and August 31, 2016. Members voted overwhelmingly to approve both bylaws revisions. The following revisions are now incorporated into the bylaws.

Article VI Board of Directors
Section 2: Qualifications for Member-at-Large

  1. Active membership in the OSRT for two (2) consecutive years immediately prior to nomination;
  2. Maintain active OSRT membership for the duration of the term;
  3. Maintain current ASRT membership;
  4. Service as an OSRT or OSRT-ERF committee member, or OSRT-ERF Director for a minimum of one (1) year.

Section 7: Meetings

  1. Board of Directors meeting may be called at such time and place as designated by the officers. Dates, times and locations of meetings shall be communicated to the membership. The Board of Directors may permit any or all members to participate in a meeting by, or conduct the meeting through the use of, any means of communication by which all members participating may simultaneously hear each other during the meeting.
