Proposed Changes to Examination Content Specifications and Clinical Experience Requirements for Four ARRT Disciplines
ARRT has recently posted proposed changes to Examination Content Specifications and Clinical Experience Requirements to include: Bone Densitometry, Computed Tomography, Quality Management and Vascular-Interventional Radiography--and they want your feedback.
The goal is to create comprehensive, accurate and fair examinations covering knowledge and cognitive skills required to practice in the fields of medical imaging, interventional procedures and radiation therapy. Therefore, Examination Content Specifications and Clinical Experience Requirements are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. To meet future education needs and promote consistency across ARRT disciplines, four major universal content categories have been established for the Examination Content Specifications: Patient Care, Safety, Image Production and Procedures.
