Dr. Ballinger was awarded Life Membership in the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences, Inc. (AEIRS) the annual meeting this July held in Providence, Rhode Island. Phil is well-known globally for his extensive years of service to the profession.

The achievement of becoming a life member is one of the highest honors among professionals being recognized for outstanding contributions to radiologic sciences. Both Nina and Phil are recognized scholars as they both have an impressive list of important scientific publications. Ohio is proud of these two outstanding professionals.

Ohio is also proud of two other Ohio Technologists who both happen to be educators at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, in Blue Ash Ohio. Dr. Julie Gill (above left) just completed a year of service as President of the Board of Directors for ASRT. She has served the ASRT Board for several years and will be serving as Chair of the Board for the upcoming year.

Ms. Tracy Herrmann (above right photo-right side) was installed as President of the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences, Inc. (AEIRS). Ms. Herrmann has served a number of years in numerous capacities for the AEIRS board.

Being elected as president of a national professional organization requires enormous work and dedication but is also an honor. Ohio is both proud and appreciative of the hard work and noble service of these two dedicated professionals.

Ohio has a national presence and is a well-respected State due to the hard work of many, many technologists who donate quality time and effort to advance the profession. Ohio RTs and the OSRT are a positive force as seen in the pictures below (picture below courtesy of ASRT).
